Bangolore : BJP top leaders Arun Jaitley and Rajnath Singh  in Bangalore failed to convince B.S. Yeddyurappa  to make a consensus on  Yeddyurappa's successor. It appears that Yeddyurappa is in no mood to step down. The two leaders also met with the MPs and MLAs  and felt  the very  strong support around Yeddyurappa  at his residence.

“Karnataka BJP MPs are of the unanimous opinion that Yeddyurappa should not resign. He is not an individual. He is an institution as CM. He should have taken the opinion of all elected representatives. We appeal to the high command to reconsider”  said  an  MP  D. B. Chandre Gowda.

“The Lokayukta report has lost its sanctity—it leaked.”  Mr. Gowda also added,

“You all know he has said he will resign on 31st. But it is not the right time. Lok Sabha MPs have expressed their opinion.” a Minister V. Somanna said.

Anantha Kumar, Sadanand Gowda are top contenders for the successors of the CM.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Anshka Sharma, disclosed that, she is “not dating” actor Ranveer Singh. “I like him, he’s attractive but we are very different people. We have a very volatile relationship, we can actually kill each other and I am serious,”

“I can take his head off, he can take mine off, and we are quite like that. Me and Ranveer are quite the opposites. We see life in a very different way. He is a very practical person and I am completely impractical. For me a relationship can’t be frivolous; I need to be with a man, who can calm me down if need be. Else, it would not be a good relationship,” says the actor adding that she thinks that they are both not ready to be in a relationship right now. “I think Ranveer is not ready to be in a relationship right now, I’m definitely not,” says Anushka.
She diisapointed many by saying that she will prefer an arrange marriage.

BJP to oppose FDI in Retail Sector

New Delhi :BJP opposed strongly  the UPA government’s move  to allow FDI in Retail sector, as it would lead to more unemployment in the country , the small traders would be greatly affected and alleged the central government saying this move is under US pressure.
“Along with price rise, unemployment has been increasing in this country. 50 per cent of our population, comprising of small traders, street-vendors and the self-employed sustain themselves through retail businesses. The UPA government wants to deprive them of livelihood by allowing FDI in multi-brand retail,” Shahnawaz Hussain  the  BJP spokesperson said.
A Committee headed by Cabinet Secretary Ajit Seth, has cleared the proposal to have FDI in retail sector
“There is a suspicion that this government is working under pressure. Whenever some big leader, especially from the U.S., visits India the government forms a bigger committee to over-rule the decision of its Standing Committees,” Shahnawaz Hussain  also added .
