Yeddyurappa dares BJP, top leaders fails to convince him

Bangolore : BJP top leaders Arun Jaitley and Rajnath Singh  in Bangalore failed to convince B.S. Yeddyurappa  to make a consensus on  Yeddyurappa's successor. It appears that Yeddyurappa is in no mood to step down. The two leaders also met with the MPs and MLAs  and felt  the very  strong support around Yeddyurappa  at his residence.

“Karnataka BJP MPs are of the unanimous opinion that Yeddyurappa should not resign. He is not an individual. He is an institution as CM. He should have taken the opinion of all elected representatives. We appeal to the high command to reconsider”  said  an  MP  D. B. Chandre Gowda.

“The Lokayukta report has lost its sanctity—it leaked.”  Mr. Gowda also added,

“You all know he has said he will resign on 31st. But it is not the right time. Lok Sabha MPs have expressed their opinion.” a Minister V. Somanna said.

Anantha Kumar, Sadanand Gowda are top contenders for the successors of the CM.
