The 58-year-old US General David Petraeus to become the new director of the CIA, who handed over command of NATO forces in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Monday July 18.
US Marine Corps General John Allen took over command of U.S. and NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan on Monday from General Petraeus.
