Indo-US strategic talks began in Delhi

NEW DELHI: India and the US Tuesday ,July 19  began their second strategic dialogue on counter terrorism  and civil nuclear deal.  US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is visiting  after recent 13/7 incident in Mumbai, therefore , it becomes more important as far as the sharing of intelligence is concerned, India might seek strong cooperation from US, in the probing of the terrorist attacks in India

         US Secretary of State ,who arrived here Monday with a team of  25-member delegation of US officials. External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna jointly chaired the talks at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

       The two sides are expected to discuss strategic cooperation, counter-terrorism, energy and climate change, education, science and technology, health and defense. After the talks, they may sign key pacts
for cyber security and civil aviation.

         The US Secretary of State  will also meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi .Then ,she will head to Chennai  for US trade and business  expansion .
